About Us
For years, the staff at Reiman Publications heard the same request over and over from readers. “Could you give us more recipes that serve only two people?”
Empty nesters…newlyweds…retirees…singles…and others in small households were all saying the same thing. Finding tasty just-for-two meal ideas is a frustrating challenge since most recipes are geared toward a family of four—or six, eight or more. Paring down bigger recipes isn’t always easy to do.
Getting the same request from so many cooks across the country got us thinking here at Taste of Home. And, in 2005, we began publishing an entire cooking magazine devoted solely to delicious small-scale recipes.
