Recipes for Two
Send Us Your Favorite Down-sized Recipes
READERS help fill Cooking for 2 with a variety of delicious down-sized dishes. Sometimes we need recipes for a particular topic, such as slow-cooker meals or breakfast entrees. Please check here each issue to find out what we’re planning for future issues. If you can help out with a recipe, tip or idea, please send it to us to consider.
Here are some of the things we’re working on:
- Casseroles. Most everyone has a casserole recipe they make again and again because it tastes so good. Why not share your best meat, vegetable, pasta or egg-based casserole with other Cooking for 2 readers?
- Turkey Leftovers. We try to leave you without a lot of leftovers…but admit it, at Thanksgiving you look forward to having a little extra turkey for sandwiches, soup and other dishes. Tell us how you use up this holiday mainstay. Share recipes and any storage or serving tips.
- One-pot wonders. Making a meal in a skillet, roaster, slow-cooker or baking pan cuts down on prep time and cleanup. So chances are, you serve meal-in-one recipes whenever you can. Please send us your favorites.
- Up & coming Cooks. If you are a young newlywed or a single college student who loves to cook, share your best recipe for two with us. Please include a photo and tell us how long you’ve been married and/or where you go to school. You could be featured in an upcoming issue!
