Send Us Your Favorite Recipes for Two
READERS like you fill Cooking for 2 with an abundance of flavorful down-sized dishes, and we thank you for that. Sometimes, we need recipes for a particular topic, such as slow-cooker meals or breakfast entrees. You can look to this space in each issue to find what topics we’re working on for future issues. If you have an appropriate recipe, please send it in for us to consider.
Here are some of the topics we’re working on:
- CHILI. Have a zesty recipe that doesn’t make a huge pot—just enough for the two of you? Whether it’s mild, spicy or downright hot, we’d love to try it.
- CRISPS & COBBLERS. Most of these comfy desserts make enough for a crowd. Maybe you’ve downsized a family favorite or dreamed up your own pared-down version. Please send it our way.
- RV RECIPES. Do you spend weeks or even months on the road, cooking meals in a tiny mobile kitchen? There are plenty of RVers out there who need recipes and ideas for tasty meals on the move. Share yours…along with cooking tips, shopping lists or any other information that might help RV cooks.
- CLASSICS. Do you have a traditional recipe that’s been handed down through generations of your family that you wish you could cut down to size? Send in your treasured classic and let our Test Kitchen home economists downsize it for our “Classics Paired Down” feature.
- LIGHTEN UP. Readers tell us they want recipes that are light on calories, sodium, cholesterol or fat. If you have a tried-and-true favorite, share it with other cooks like you.
