tip Make the most of summer fruit by creating sweet and cool ice cream parfaits. For instance, you could spoon sliced strawberries into a parfait glass and top with vanilla ice cream and crushed pineapple; repeat the layers; and top with whipped topping.

tipSoften ice cream slightly and stir in chopped maraschino cherries, mini chocolate chips, chopped nuts or other favorite ingredients, then spoon the mixture into individual molds or cupcake papers. Freeze.
